Great opportunity with a great team. Recruiting a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a local company who buy and supply to the building, plumbing and timber merchant trade. Here, your key focus will be to accurately maintain Supplier Accounts in reconciliations, whilst liaising and offering support to suppliers with any queries or challenges that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- For all allocated supplier accounts, to be reconciled each month, with top accounts reconciled every month and reconcile remainder every 90 days, as determined by the section’s rota.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure outstanding queries are resolved
- Liaise with members to ensure outstanding queries are repaid
- Proactively work on debit notes over 90 days to achieve the team KPI’s
- Prepare analysis required for supplier meetings, as necessary
- Be able to present an overview of the company to suppliers in meetings, as required
- Any other duties which may arise through this position
- Create strong working relationships across the business
- Possess the ability to develop and maintain relationships to a high standard with all suppliers
- Have the ability to set your own dimensions and decision making
- Analyse and identify improvements to transaction handing and work closely with the Finance team to implement effectively
- In conjunction with the Finance Manager, ensure that all regulatory requirements are met in an accurate and timely fashion and working in line with KPI’s and deadlines
- To be able to action a high volume of customer queries where required
Key requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships, both internally and externally
- Ability to think quickly and creatively, with a keen eye for attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel as essential
- Self-motivated, with a positive and confident manner
- Previous experience in purchase ledger environment advantageous, but not essential
Hybrid Working (minimum 2 days in the office) - Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
