This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either looking to build a career in finance or already has some foundational experience and is ready to take the next step. Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Cash book reconciliation
• Assist updating P&L reports with reconciled data and month-end
• Assist with accounts receivable, raising sales invoices, and outstanding payments
• Process non-AP vouchers and file all supplier invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements and assist with resolving discrepancies
• Prepare BACs payment runs and create beneficiaries in the banking system
• Raise and process ad hoc non-AP payments
• Perform cash book reconciliations
• Raise ad hoc journals as required
• Create and save monthly MME reports
• Assist with timely and accurate month-end inputs
• Manage and distribute incoming mail
• Maintain the franking machine
• Record and circulate daily cleared bank balances
• Support the finance team with general reconciliation and account maintenance duties.

Candidate Profile

• A genuine interest in finance with a proactive attitude to learn and develop
• Ideally some prior experience in a finance or accounts role, or currently studying towards a finance qualification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
