Pupil Support Worker - Blackpool Secondary School ?
We're hiring a Pupil Support Worker for a secondary school in Blackpool, with a start date of September 2025. Role & Responsibilities ?As a Pupil Support Worker, you will be a vital part of our school's pastoral and inclusion team. Your main duties will include:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with a variety of needs, including social, emotional, and academic difficulties.
Assisting teachers in the classroom to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Monitoring student attendance, behavior, and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
Working closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic support network for students.
Helping to implement personalized support plans and interventions.
The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced in a school environment or a similar role working with young people.
Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Empathetic, patient, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
An excellent communicator, capable of working effectively with staff, students, and families.
Proactive and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting young people's development.
