Are you a recent Psychology graduate passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? GSL Education is currently seeking empathetic, motivated individuals to join a specialist setting in York from September 2025. This full-time role is ideal for graduates looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in a school environment that supports vulnerable and at-risk students.
About the School Setting:You’ll be working in a supportive alternative provision that caters to students aged 5–16 who face barriers to learning due to SEMH challenges, trauma, or unmet additional needs. The setting offers a personalised, nurturing approach with a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, relationships, and restorative practice. Staff work closely as a team to help students re-engage with education, build self-confidence, and develop coping strategies for life beyond the classroom.
