Workshop Manager
Our client is a national bus company with many depots across the country. Currently they are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join their busy depot.
As Workshop Manager, you’ll be ready to roll your sleeves up for a rewarding role that doesn’t just help people get from A to B – you help communities stay connected.
Our client is one of Britain’s leading public transport businesses, helping connect communities for 40 years. Their team of 24,000 people and our 8,300 buses, coaches and trams are part of the fabric of daily life in Scotland, England and Wales.
With a total fleet of around 70 vehicles travelling around East Scotland, you’ll have the responsibility of supporting, advising, and managing a team of engineers and support staff to ensure all our buses are clean, safe and reliable on the road each day.
The successful candidate will have the appropriate engineering qualifications, excellent diagnostic skills, relevant experience within a workshop supervisory role and knowledge of PCV operations.
The job demands someone with energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate staff to meet the targets and the high standards we set for the maintenance and cleaning of our buses and to liaise with colleagues in the Operations Department to ensure PVR is met al all times.
