PSV Technician

£37,000 - £45,000, Horsham, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, 20 days + BH, Pension, Parking

The Role

Due to business expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a PSV Technician to join a well-established bus and coach conversion and sales specialist. Working on Buses and Coaches, from the workshop and sometimes at client sites, the Technician will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse range of Buses and Coaches ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and quality.

• Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, including axle and driveline repairs
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections, routine maintenance, preventative measures, and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and roadworthiness
• Electrical fault finding including diagnosing CAN networks
• Diagnosing faults on HGV/PSV air systems
• Utilise diagnostic equipment and stay abreast of emerging technologies within the industry
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections

Requirements

To be successful in the role of Bus and Coach Technician you will be an experienced Bus or Coach Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, or PSV Technician. You will have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skill, and relevant qualifications or experience in vehicle maintenance. It is preferred that you already hold a PSV Licence, but this can be arranged for the right candidate.

You will be joining a leading luxury minibus, coach manufacturer and retailer based in Southwater, West Sussex. They have experienced fantastic growth in recent years and continue to diversify and grow their offering to their clients. They operate out of a brand-new, purpose-built office. Due to location, your own transport is required for this role.
