Locum Prosecutions Lawyer – 3 months + – Fully Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £60 per hour – East of England

Position: Locum Prosecutions Lawyer

Organisation: East of England based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months +with the possibility of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Fully Remote, attendance is welcomed but not necessary

Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Prosecutions matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.

Duties may include:

• Manage a caseload and provide legal advice on a wide range of Prosecution matters including Environmental crime, Education offences such as Irregular Attendance and Trading standards matters
• Conduct Case Preparation and case management of allocated cases for Court purposes and liaise with the relevant Clients from various departments within the Local Authority
• Prepare briefs for Counsel and liaised with them on matters due for Court
• Reviewing work to ensure work is completed to a high standard
