An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join a well-established, employee-owned law firm at their busy Morley office. The Role:You’ll manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. This is a hands-on role requiring sound technical knowledge and excellent client care, ideal for a conveyancer who thrives on autonomy and enjoys building relationships in their local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from file opening to completion
Take instructions, provide clear, practical legal advice, and keep clients fully informed
Draft contracts, deal with enquiries, carry out searches, and liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
Prepare files for exchange and completion, handle completions, and conduct file closures
Maintain accurate financial records and manage billing
Delegate supervisory responsibilities where appropriate
Keep up to date with changes in property law and practice

About You:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing residential conveyancing files independently
Extensive knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
Strong technical conveyancing skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear, client-friendly advice
Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a busy caseload under pressure
A team player with a proactive, positive approach
