I have a new and exciting In-House Opportunity to work with an exclusive organisation!

Due to the high amount of growth the company are now building and expanding their In-House Team looking for a Property Solicitor either specialised in Residential Property, Commercial Property or Property Litigation!

You will play a pivotal role in providing legal advice and support, collaborating with experienced colleagues to handle a diverse caseload of legal property enquiries.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of property legal queries referred from the Membership Helpline team, including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, sale and purchase, Right to Rent, HMOs, Tenant Fees Act, Housing health and safety rating system (HHSRS), amongst others.
  • Provide expert legal guidance to members regarding court proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive legal services to members.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and assist in growing the firm's reputation as the UK’s primary membership body for property professionals.

Job Requirement / Skills:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1-3 years PQE in Landlord & Tenant, Conveyancing and/or Property Litigation.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of property sales and lettings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong academic background and passion for property law

Desired: Good working knowledge of all legislation relating to the Housing Act, including Right to Rent, HMOs, Rent Reform Act, Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, Tenant Fees Act etc and Litigation knowledge.
