Commercial Property Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant

Medlock Partners are working with a well-established and forward-thinking law firm with a strong presence across Yorkshire, who are now looking to appoint a Commercial Property Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Leeds office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in either commercial property or residential property to join a friendly and supportive team, with the chance to develop their skills and take on more responsibility as their career progresses.

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Property Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant:

• Assisting fee earners with a variety of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties to progress transactions.
• Preparing legal documentation, handling correspondence, and managing administrative tasks.
• Supporting with billing, file management, and post-completion processes.
• Ensuring a high level of accuracy and client care at all times.

Key requirements for the Commercial Property Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant role:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in either commercial or residential property.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT proficient and confident using case management systems.
• Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
