This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to become part of a supportive and friendly team based in Birmingham city centre. What You’ll Be Doing as a Property Manager
As a Property Manager, you will:
- Build and nurture effective working relationships with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Take charge of a varied portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties on an ongoing basis.
- Arrange and oversee maintenance, repair and improvement works, ensuring smooth access and quality completion.
- Assist with the acquisition of new properties and manage their seamless addition to the portfolio.
- Carry out routine site visits and inspections to maintain high property standards.
- Collaborate with Facilities Management to ensure all regulatory and compliance checks are met.
- Manage the letting process, including negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Stay informed of changes in relevant property legislation and apply this knowledge as needed.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely client reports.
- Conduct alarm testing, meter readings, and meetings with contractors where needed
What We’re Looking For
To excel as a Property Manager, you should have:
- MRICS, AssocRICS or MARLA qualification(s)
- Strong experience in asset management or a similar property role
- A proven ability to build positive working relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractors
- Flexibility and professionalism within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational, people and time management skills
- Confident working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- A full UK driving licence
- Availability for hybrid working (around 2 days in the Birmingham city centre office)
