Axon Moore are delighted to be recruiting for a brand-new Property Finance and Admin Assistant role with a well-established property business based just outside Manchester city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, forward-thinking team in a dynamic and growing business.As a Property Finance and Admin Assistant, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Block Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of residential apartment blocks. The role involves a blend of admin, financial support, and customer service, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in staying organised and proactive.This position is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills, a confident phone manner, and good working knowledge of Excel. If you’ve worked in property or dealt with service charges before, even better, but full training will be provided.Salary: Up to £30K base salaryLocation: Central Manchester Main Duties:
  • Manage the enquiries inbox, responding to leaseholder queries about budgets, service charges, and statements.
  • Assist with preparing and explaining accounts and audited financials (training provided).
  • Support with budget preparation, invoice processing, and chasing payment arrears.
  • Liaise with contractors, raise work orders, and help coordinate building inspections.
  • Maintain accurate digital records of correspondence, contracts, and site visits.
  • Book site visits and attend occasional property inspections alongside the Block Manager.
  • Allocate payments, update spreadsheets, and ensure financial records are accurate.
  • Act as a key support for the Block Manager in day-to-day operations across a small portfolio of residential blocks.
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience in administration - ideally within property, block management or finance.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general office systems.
  • A clear, confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and develop understanding of property and service charge processes.
