Due to their organic expansion, a new opportunity has emerged for an experienced Property Claims Adjuster to join their busy Claims Team and support with the increasing portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of Property Claims handling at a variety of values from small to complex, and London Market experience. You will be expected to handle a mixture of commercial property claims internationally from FNOL to settlement, and confidently liaise with multiple internal and external parties. You'll also have the chance for cross skilling, supporting the wider claims team with other lines of business to include casualty, marine, financial & professional lines, cyber, technology, and more!

Our client is able to offer exposure to a broad range of different Lloyd’s syndicates collaboratively, hybrid working (2 days in the office), and some excellent progression opportunities.

Duties & responsibilities include:

• Managing and adjusting claims from first notification to settlement within pre-authorised authority limits
• Claims adjusting on behalf of current and future Claims
• Provision of technical support for the adjusting of various COB claims
• Ensuring each client’s claim service standards are maintained or enhanced
• Managing and enhancing client relationships
• Monitoring performance against contract SLAs and KPIs
• Delivering and presenting reports to clients on specific claims issues
• Mentoring and training less experienced members of the team
• Post adjustment peer review of to ensure technical standards and requirements are adhered to
• Appointing experts and legal counsel where deemed appropriate
• Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post
