The OpportunityA leading residential developer is seeking a driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team as they launch a flagship new build housing scheme in Deptford.This is a career-defining opportunity for a QS with 2–4 years’ experience who is ready to move beyond assistant-level duties and take real ownership on a major London project. Reporting directly to a Senior QS, you’ll play a key role in the commercial delivery of a large-scale residential scheme, gaining exposure across procurement, cost control, and project strategy.If you’re ambitious, hands-on, and looking for a platform to step into full Project QS responsibilities, this role offers the perfect environment.Key Responsibilities

• Lead on elements of procurement and subcontract package management
• Prepare tender documentation, issue enquiries, and assess returns
• Manage valuations, variations, forecasts, and reporting cycles
• Attend commercial, design, and project coordination meetings
• Support the Senior QS while independently driving packages and cost control
• Contribute to cost planning, risk management, and project reporting

• 2–4 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying (residential or main contracting)
• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Solid commercial awareness and confidence taking responsibility
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ambition to step into a full Project QS role in the near future
