Project Quantity Surveyor - Owen Daniels Consultancy : Job Details

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor? If so, our client is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor with experience within the utilities sector, to work remotely and visit customers throughout the Midlands.  Position – Project Quantity SurveyorContract - PermanentLocation – RemoteBenefits – Company pension scheme, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days holiday (Increasing increments)Responsibilities - Project Quantity Surveyor

• Execute new multi-utility connections and EV Charging projects.
• Work alongside relevant internal stakeholders to ensure project financials align with predetermined budgets.
• Assist Project Managers to help them understand in more detail the financial performance of their projects.
• Provide commercial support where required.
• To drive the forecast/cost to complete process with Project Manager’s so that variances to budget are communicated to Project Finance as early as possible in the delivery cycle.

Experience/Qualifications Required – Project Quantity Surveyor

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Good financial understanding of budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
• Experience in the Utilities sector
