Project Support OfficerOxfordshire£14 per hourFull Time Contract ( 6 months)Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Project Support Officer in Oxfordshire. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours. Responsibilities include:

• Support a series of wide-ranging projects in particular those required to deliver the Directorates business and delivery objectives
• Work with service leads and sponsor to define the project, identifying the critical success factors, requirements and targets of change
• To help define and set-up the project organisation structure, assembling team members with agreement of appropriate line managers
• Work in a constructive way with colleagues across the organisation and with its' partners, supporting and challenging others to deliver and embed change
• Achieving effective cross-team working across the directorates.

Experience and skills required:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a public sector is essential
• Previous experience as a PSO or similar is essential
• Track record of supporting complex integrated projects which deliver tangible results for customers
• Knowledge of PRINCE II methodology or other recognised project management methodologies
• Experience of working in politically complex situations and proactively managing problems and opportunities
