Your new companyOur client, an established contractor operating in the water industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their business. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering projects valued at up to £1.5m directly for high-profile water providers. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, and due to continued success, they are looking to expand their delivery team.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Shropshire office with occasional site travel and option for agile working.

Your new roleAs Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
• Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
• Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
• Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
• Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
• Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

• Proven successful experience managing projects from inception through to completion in the water industry
• Working knowledge of NEC suite of contracts
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full UK driving licence.
