Join Our Team as a Project Manager for the Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of neurodiverse children and young people? Our client, a leading organisation in the public sector, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to spearhead the Project for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools. This exciting temporary position is based in Croydon, London, with a focus on improving outcomes, access, and lived experiences for neurodiverse children and young people in schools across Croydon and Wandsworth.

Position Details:

  • Contract Length: 7 months
  • Daily Rate: £350 - £400 per day Umbrella
  • Working Pattern: Full Time - 1 day on site. 4 days WFH
  • Location: Croydon, conveniently located just 11 minutes from East Croydon train station and 5 minutes from George Street tram station.
  • DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS check required.

About the Role:As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the Project for Inclusion of Neurodiversity within the broader Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Programme. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including local authorities, health care providers, and community organisations, to ensure the project's successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and collaborate with colleagues and partners across the children's and young people's system to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, tracking milestones and proactively addressing any risks or issues.
  • Prepare and update reports for programme groups and boards, communicating progress and outcomes effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess key performance indicators, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to local and national policies, implementing necessary changes into the project.
  • Build strong engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, fostering integrated service delivery.

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong focus on health and care services.
  • Excellent data analysis skills to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving.
  • A commitment to supporting the transformation and commissioning of services for neurodiverse children and young people.

The post holder would be expected to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information, where agreement or cooperation is required. They will need strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with local providers, health and care professionals, politicians, local communities and citizens, and key stakeholders to gain credibility and trust
