Sellick Partnership is partnering with a local authority to recruit a Project Manager - Corporate Transformation on an interim basis.
The responsibilities of the Project Manager will be:
- Leading and delivering a range of corporate transformation, service delivery, business change, and behaviour change projects.
- Planning, reporting, risk management, and benefits tracking across multiple programmes.
- Managing project budgets in line with corporate financial procedures and governance requirements.
- Creating and maintaining project plans, workstreams, and governance boards to ensure effective delivery.
- Leading multi-disciplinary project teams and supporting senior managers to drive change.
- Applying PRINCE2, Agile, and design-led approaches to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
- Ensuring benefits realisation is identified, tracked, and embedded into business operations.
- Driving innovation, embedding new ways of working, and closing projects effectively with lessons learned.
The ideal candidate for the Project Manager role will have:
- Substantial experience managing projects in a large organisation from initiation through to implementation.
- Strong knowledge of PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies, with the ability to apply the right approach to different projects.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering transformation and business change projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with experience of engaging senior managers and elected members.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, risks, and governance frameworks effectively.
- Strong project management software skills (e.g., MS Project, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
- Experience of leading and motivating project teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
