A respected and long-established construction and engineering consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team, supporting the delivery of high-profile projects across the built environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects within sectors including healthcare, education, heritage, and public infrastructure. The successful Project Manager will manage schemes from inception through to completion, playing a pivotal role in delivering best-in-class outcomes for clients across the UK.
The Project Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, leading project delivery with a focus on quality, cost, and time objectives. The role offers significant scope for development, with structured support towards chartership and the opportunity to progress into senior leadership roles.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee full project lifecycle from initial brief through to handover
- Lead and coordinate project teams, managing scope, programme, cost, and risk
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as main point of contact
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, contracts, and risk registers
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and relevant contract procedures (including NEC and JCT)
- Support business development and contribute to company growth strategy
Skills & Experience Required:
- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
- Chartered or working towards membership of a recognised professional body (MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB, MICE)
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager delivering construction or infrastructure schemes
- A strong understanding of contract administration and project delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a consultancy environment
In Return:
- £50,000 - £60,000 salary (dependent on experience)
