Brandon James is partnering with our client, a leading global engineering and construction consultancy, in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to deliver a wide range of high-value and complex projects, from appraisal through to completion, across the water, environment, and infrastructure sectors.
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to manage scope, programme, risk, budget, and client expectations. You will be responsible for the successful management of projects across the full lifecycle, while also building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for a Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to work on projects with significant societal and environmental impact.
Role Responsibilities
Managing projects from appraisal and planning through detailed design, construction, and delivery.
Identifying, allocating, and mitigating project risks and opportunities.
Taking responsibility for commercial objectives, ensuring timely reporting and accurate financial management.
Maintaining excellent communication with clients and key stakeholders.
Managing and updating project programmes in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Leading delivery teams to achieve agreed outcomes on time and within budget.
Ensuring all projects are closed out effectively and efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related subject.
Chartered or working towards membership of a recognised professional body (MAPM, ChPP, MCIWEM, MICE, MCIOB, MRICS, etc).
Strong project management experience with high-risk, high-value, or high-complexity schemes.
Experience working within the water and environmental sector.
Knowledge of NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and collaborative working approach.

Salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience.
