We are looking for a Project Manager to join our amazing team.

Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London

Salary: Hybrid - £46,103 per annum (Band G, Level 3) Inclusive of Market Supplement and Outer London WeightingSalary: Home - £44,343 per annum (Band F, Level 3) Inclusive of Market Supplement

Term: 18-monthfixed term contract

About the Project Manager Role:

This is an exciting chance to lead complex projects that will change how we do scouting for years to come. You will also play a critical role in the continuous improvement of our PMO processes to ensure our approach to delivering transformation is weaved through everything we do. The candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference to young people as they develop skills for life.

What we are looking for in our Project Manager:

  • Lead and facilitate the scoping, design, and delivery of projects
  • Agree project objectives, benefits, and plans for delivering these with your project stakeholders
  • Define project tasks and manage resource requirements accordingly
  • Develop and manage project schedules and progress updates
  • Develop other required project documentation such as RAID logs and finance sheets
  • Excellence in all practical aspects of project management
  • Ability to use project management techniques, tools, and software
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • A strong record in delivering and managing complex projects, which require engaging multiple stakeholders across people, culture, process and digital solutions
  • Able to make decisions independently and engage others in decision making processes
  • Ability to take the initiative, be assertive, persuasive and to motivate and inspire a range of audiences
