Our client operates across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire, delivering exceptional residential projects that set new standards in the industry. The company currently has three active projects, each ranging from 4-8 units, and is poised for significant growth with upcoming projects in the pipeline between 20-30 units.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone from a small to medium-sized business background, accustomed to a hands-on approach in various aspects of project management and commercial activities such as take-offs and variations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee residential projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage all aspects of project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Conduct take-offs and handle project variations efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
  • Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to build strong working relationships and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Implement best practices in project management and promote continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management within the residential construction sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in take-offs and managing variations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
