Project Manager

A boutique construction consultancy based in London, established in 2012 are seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join their growing team. Specialising in commercial office fit-out, new build, retail, education, and heritage projects, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality project management services to their clients. They focus primarily on commercial office fit-out projects, ranging from feasibility studies to full-scale cut and carve with project values spanning £1 million to £40 million.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with multiple ongoing projects at any given time, ranging in scale and complexity.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, liaising between tenants and landlords, including reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication among team members and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and interpret project drawings, contracts, and technical documentation to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Report directly to the company director and provide regular updates on project progress, financial performance, and potential risks or issues.

Project Manager Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in project management within the construction industry, ideally with a focus on commercial office fit-out projects.
  • Strong literacy skills to understand and interpret complex contracts and technical documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with experience in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Background in technical aspects of construction, including a solid understanding of architectural drawings and construction processes.
  • Willingness to pursue chartered status if not already attained.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, open office culture.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while also being receptive to guidance and support from senior management.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum. Performance-based bonus scheme.Private healthcare and pension benefits.25 days of annual leave
