Project Engineer - Premier Engineering : Job Details

ROLE – Project EngineerLOCATION – OxfordshireTERM - PermanentSALARY - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience (Please advise what you’re looking for)My client designs and manufactures Special Purpose Machinery for a range of industries including medical, science and more. The Project Engineer role will involve:

• Reviewing customer requirements and standards and ensuring these are met or negotiated and prepared and attend customer meetings
• Head up quality expectations and issues
• Working to budgets and creating and reporting on project timings
• Working to company processes and creation of new processes to provide efficient and effective practices
• Creation and evaluation of test procedures and Identify failure modes and assist in providing solutions
• Machine safety reviews and solutions
• Analysis of data to solve problems and providing common sense and fit for purpose solutions
• Source and qualify new suppliers
• Assisting other departments in project engineering e.g. sales
• Occasional travel to customer and other group sites

Required Experience:

• A sound understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in the project management of customers, suppliers and personnel
• Physics Degree minimum 
• Proficient in consultation and negotiation techniques
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office products
