Gleeson is delighted to be partnering once again with a key client in Leicester who are in the middle of an exciting finance transformation journey, rolling out Oracle Cloud solutions across Group Finance and FP&A.
We're looking for a Project Accountant to join the team and play a pivotal role in delivering change and ensuring a smooth transition. This is a high-profile assignment where your expertise will directly shape how the business operates going forward.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:Take ownership of data validation, reconciliation and variance analysis to keep the project on track.
Manage reconciliations across multiple environments.
Partner with finance stakeholders to explain variances and support decision-making.
Help deliver a smooth transition to Oracle's new reporting solutions.
Proven senior experience in finance systems transformation projects is essential.
Oracle experience is highly desirable; alternatively, proven success with large-scale ERP projects.
Strong background in financial data reconciliation and reporting tool development.
Experience working within large, complex businesses.
Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW) or equivalent.
Analytical, collaborative, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
Live within a reasonable daily commuting distance to Leicester.
Have extensive experience delivering the above requirements for UK based businesses.
Hold full UK right to work (no sponsorship required or available).
