Professional Indemnity Solicitor - IPS Group : Job Details

Role OverviewWe are working on behalf of a well-regarded national law firm to recruit an experienced professional indemnity solicitor to join its expanding team.  Based in Manchester, the successful candidate will support a specialist commercial insurer on a range of complex and high-value disputes.You’ll handle a broad caseload of professional indemnity, public liability, property damage, and management liability (D&O) matters. The work involves both coverage advice and litigation, dealing with claims up to and exceeding £5 million.This is an exciting opportunity to join a Legal 500 ranked team operating within a modern, commercially minded law firm.Candidate Profile / Experience NeededWe are keen to speak to candidates who can demonstrate:

• 1+ years PQE (or equivalent) in insurance litigation
• Experience in professional indemnity or property liability (defendant preferred)
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and provide coverage advice
• Familiarity with professional risks (e.g., construction, accountancy, tech, care, not-for-profit)
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Strong organisational and IT skills (case management systems, MS Office)
• Prior exposure to subrogated recoveries is desirable but not essential
