Production Team Leader - M4 Recruitment Limited : Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and hands-on Production Team Leader to join a growing and fast-paced production environment in Tewkesbury. The successful candidate will play a vital role in leading and supporting a production team to meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Working Hours: Five Shifts Per Week - 05:15 / 13:30, with finish times based on production demands

As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team on the production floor, ensuring daily targets are met while upholding the highest standards in product quality, food safety, and housekeeping. You’ll work closely with other members of the leadership team and play a key role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and productive operations across the site.

• Lead, motivate, and coach team members with hands-on support and guidance
• Drive efficiency across production lines while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
• Accurately complete and manage production documentation
• Promptly report and escalate any production, quality, or maintenance issues
• Ensure all hygiene, safety, and housekeeping protocols are followed
• Work flexibly across different shifts to support production requirements
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Please note: This is a physically demanding role and includes manual handling.

Essential:

• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and good manufacturing practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Flexible and reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience in food production
• Understanding of HACCP principles and KPI reporting
