PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – MIDDLESBROUGH Food Manufacturing | £31,000–£33,000 | Sunday–Thursday | 40 hrs/week

Join one of the UK’s fastest-growing chilled food manufacturers!We produce over 120,000 sandwiches, wraps, and salads daily, supplying major supermarkets, rail operators, airlines, and schools from our modern, semi-automated factory. We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our team in a fast-paced, high-care environment.

You’ll be responsible for leading operations across 6 production lines (Sandwiches, Wraps, Fresh Paninis, Salads) within a modern facility. You’ll manage line leaders and production staff to ensure smooth workflow, minimal downtime, and consistent product quality.

• Oversee daily high-care food production operations

• Manage, mentor, and support line leaders and operatives

• Organise staffing rotas, manage absence, holiday cover, and training

• Maintain strict product traceability and ensure BRC compliance

• Liaise with Admin, Goods In, and senior management

• Conduct performance reviews, disciplinaries, and return-to-work meetings

• Drive continuous improvement and maintain GMP & food safety standards

• Experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing or food production environment

• Excellent people leadership and communication skills

• Computer literate and process-oriented

• Comfortable working across departments and managing shift priorities

• Proactive, reliable, and flexible in your approach

• Salary: £31,000–£33,000 depending on experience

• Shifts: Sunday to Thursday (40 hours/week)
