Production Scheduler - Aspired Talent Ltd : Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduler to join a well established Joinery company based in Stockport - our client offers an early Friday finish and a very enjoyable working culture.This is a pivotal role within the overall organisation, and you will be responsible for the daily performance of the production and manufacturing facility.Plan works• Check Information received for errors/omissions and notify appropriate Our client staff for action• Assist in the preparation & issue of Factory manufacturing schedules (Framesets/CNC)• Prepare / develop schedules / cutting lists as required for workshop production• Liaise with site managers/contracts managers/supply only clients where required to clarify details / request additional information• Provide updates to the Production Director of deliveries dates and manufacture periods.Interpret drawings/specifications• Review revised drawings and amend documentation• Ensure products are manufactured in line with the relevant Global assessment detailsOrdering/purchasing materials/plant• Purchasing materials using various internal procurement methods, ensuring best rate for all materials• Ensuring purchase orders raised are monitored for delivery/quality/quantity and signed off once all criteria are met• Assist in cost monitoring.Attend contract/progress meetingsSkills:• Effective verbal communication skills• Ability to function well as part of a team and as an individual.• Methodical and diligent attention to detail.• UK Driving License• Computer literate (word and excel)• Experience in joinery and a technical understanding of manufacturing is beneficial but not essentialApply online / Email / Call for a friendly chat!Keywords:Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Lead, Joinery
