Production Planner/Schedular (Aviation ) - South East EnglandAre you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for aviation operations? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Planner / Scheduler to support a dynamic and fast-paced Line Maintenance environment within the aviation sector.This role is critical to the seamless execution of maintenance activities across multiple Line Stations. Working in close collaboration with the Senior Production Planning Engineer and liaising directly with aircraft operators, you will ensure efficient coordination of manpower, materials, and schedules to maintain operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed maintenance input schedules for Line Stations in collaboration with aircraft operators.Support the planning of manpower and shift rosters to meet scheduled maintenance requirements.Proactively identify and escalate any manpower or certifying staff shortfalls.Coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of required parts and materials.Prepare quotations, manage maintenance input activities, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.Provide daily maintenance status updates to both internal leadership and aircraft operators.Ensure all work packages are completed, reviewed, and submitted promptly.Participate in review meetings to support continuous improvement and performance enhancement.Assist in the analysis of operational and financial performance at Line Stations.Organise and coordinate Mobile Repair Team (MRT) and On-Line Maintenance (OLM) deployments, including logistics, tooling, and risk management.Liaise with Quality Assurance to manage one-off engineer authorisations.Oversee documentation and compliance related to robbed parts, ensuring correct paperwork (Form 1) is generated and archived.What We're Looking For:Solid experience in aircraft maintenance planning, particularly in a Line Maintenance environment.Strong coordination and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure aviation setting with exceptional attention to detail.Sound knowledge of aviation regulations and documentation requirements.Ready to take your aviation career to new heights?If you are an organised, strategic planner with a passion for aviation operations, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact in a high-performance environment.Apply now to discuss the role further and explore how you can be part of a dedicated and forward-thinking team.
