Production Operators - Adecco : Job Details

A Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Operator to join our clients well established business on a permanent basis based in Hayes.

Our client is one of the largest suppliers of steel reinforcements in the UK, theye have sites along the M4 corridor as well as the Midlands and Newcastle. The client has a history of supplying steel to iconic projects such as Prince of Wales Bridge (Second Severn Crossing), Wembley Stadium and the Shard and is currently supplying steel for the Hinkley Point Power Station.

Salary:

Starting Salary of £26,027 (Equivalent to £12.47 per hour)

Rising to Skilled Rate £27,279 (13.07) after training, with development progression to Multi-skilled - £28,678 (£13.74) Plus production Bonus once probation/training is completed. (Bonus is based on tonnage and on average is £1.50/£2 per working hour, 39 hours per week x £1.50 bonus =£58.50 per week additonal)

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday 06:00am to 14:30pm
• OVERTIME READILY AVAILABLE

Your will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake production tasks safely and accordance with instructions
• Complete production activities in order of priority
• Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed.

About you:

• A good awareness of Health and Safety
• Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
• Eager to learn
• Previous production experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
