Production operative - Randstad Delivery (GBS) : Job Details

Are you a skilled Production Operative with experience in a manufacturing environment? We're looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our busy team in Louth. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract with a high likelihood of extension, covering a long-term absence.

This role is ideal for someone with strong machine operation skills who is comfortable working a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.

• Location: Louth, Grimsby Road

• Rate: £13.50 per hour

• Contract: 3 months (with likely extension)

• Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off (two 12-hour days, two 12-hour nights)

• Hours: Average of 42 hours per week (paid breaks included)

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production machinery to ensure efficiency.

• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to BRC regulations.

• Report maintenance issues using the internal SAP system.

• Monitor product quality to ensure it meets our standards.

• Work with your team to support continuous improvement.

• Complete all required training and safety documentation.

• Prior experience operating machinery in a production or packaging environment.

• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating day and night shift pattern.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

• Strong communication skills and basic IT knowledge.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• A proactive, safety-conscious team player.

• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

• Experience in a fast-paced, BRC-accredited manufacturing environment.
