Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient Production Cycles: Work effectively within tight cycles and deadlines, ensuring the seamless flow of operations with minimal supervision.
• Standardised Procedures: Follow standardised operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize pneumatic and electric powered tools, along with a selection of hand tools, to perform assembly tasks with precision.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to optimise efficiency and meet production targets, fostering a cooperative work environment.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored for easy access.
• Secure Packaging: Pack goods using protective materials, readying them for shipment in crates, stillages, or other containers, ensuring safe transit.
• Quality Inspections: Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify any defects or issues in the assembly process, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Issue Reporting: Promptly report any issues or test failures to the supervisor to uphold the highest level of quality and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities, seeking innovative ways to enhance production processes.
• Load Management: Use hoists to manoeuvre heavy loads (up to 80kgs) onto pallets and manually load lighter finished parts.
• Electrical Element: Perform electrical tests and follow technical manuals to ensure the proper functioning of equipment, diagnosing malfunctions as needed. Engage in general wiring on components for assembly.

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:00 / Friday: 08:00 - 13:00.

Salary: £12.60 P/H
