Production Operative Required

Our client is a global leader in filtration and energy solutions, covering a diverse range of industries.

Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a dedicated, ambitious Production Operative to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all safety checks before operation of equipment and report any defects.
• Ensure all safety-based maintenance concerns are raised to the Slitting IC.
• Keep packing area free from obstructions that may cause slips trips and falls.
• Accurate and timely preparation of production documentation.
• Complete checklists accurately and efficiently, highlighting any deviation from normal conditions.
• Ensure clear and accurate identification and transporting any good reels, held material or waste to the correct location.
• Communication within slitting crew and between Departmental ICs to ensure efficient machine operation.
• Complete tests and inspections in an accurate and timely manner.
• Produce and wrap reels in accordance with correct instructions. E.g. TI, reel width, set diameter, etc.
• Support Operations management Team in decision-making and as a valued member of the production team.
• Actively participate in problem solving and process improvement events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience in machining would be an advantage.
• Previous Flt driving - beneficial
• Capable of working as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.

Additional Information:

• Hourly Rate: £13-£14
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• 2 Days & 2 Nights (6-6)
• Paid breaks
