We are seeking a Production Manager with a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing and experience with Amada machinery. This role is crucial for overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety while meeting budget and time constraints.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Plan production schedules, manage resources and budgets, and supervise staff to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
• Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and manage raw materials effectively.
• Report on production performance to upper management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, ideally in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Amada machinery and tools.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• In-depth understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Outstanding communication ability.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
