Are you a proven Production Manager ready to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Brighouse, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of shift-based operations, drive performance, and play a key role in continuous improvement and cultural development.

As Production Manager, you will:

• Lead, coach, and mentor shift teams, conducting performance reviews and supporting professional development.

• Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across teams.

• Drive operational excellence through effective planning, team communication, and performance management.

• Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are met, while minimising downtime and waste.

• Work cross-functionally with H&S, Engineering, Quality, and Planning to resolve challenges and align goals.

• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, RCA, and Six Sigma practices.

• Conduct daily audits and implement process improvements to enhance OEE and operational output.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar production or operations leadership role.

• Strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Proven leadership and people development skills.

• Experience with Lean tools, Root Cause Analysis, 5S, and continuous improvement.

• Qualifications:

  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification

  • NVQ/SVQ in Manufacturing Management or Team Leadership

  • ILM or CMI Level 3-7 in Leadership & Management

  • Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)

• Engineering background (desirable).

• Monday to Friday

• £55,000 salary
