Production Manager

Location: Teesside

Salary / Package: Negotiable (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday (2 week shift rotation days and nights) NO WEEKENDS

Type: Permanent

Imperial Recruitment Group are working with a growing manufacturer in Teesside who are looking to appoint a Production Manager on a full time permanent basis working Mon – Fri days and nights

Duties:

· Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to in order to achieve zero accidents

· Ensure packaging / productions plans for each shift are met

· Monitor efficiencies of both machinery and labour

· Monitor waste and implement actions plans to reduce wastage

· Analyse main cause of downtime on the shift and implement actions plans

· Monitor and control attendance and conduct return to work interviews

· Highlight training or development requirements

· Ensure all products meet quality standards

· Monitor and manage production KPIs

· Manage hygiene, engineering, and quality departments

· Attend audits

Requirements:

· Experience managing a team within a FMCG environment

· Good communications skills

· Able to work on own initiative

· Experience with working towards KPIs
