Production Manager 

Monday - Friday: 6am - 2pm 

£35,000 per annum

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our well-established client based in Oldham, Greater Manchester on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

As a Production Manager your day-to-day duties will be: 

•  Manage a team of production operatives across a busy manufacturing environment
•  Attend and complete scheduled production reviews
•  Ensure production time-scales are kept 
•  Compliance with all company health and safety procedures
•  Build customer relationships with all customers to ensure a proactive working relationship

Essential Skills

As a Production Manager it is essential that you have the following skills: 

•  Strong problem solving and fault-finding skills
•  Experience managing a team across a manufacturing environment
•  Ability to interact confidently and professionally with staff at all levels
•  Confidence in working alone as well as part of team
•  Assertive in leadership
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Experience

It would be desirable as a Production Manager if you have: 

• Previous or current experience working with furniture manufacturing
• Joinery experience would be a benefit, but is not essential 

Training

• Company policy and procedural training provided to successful candidate
