Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting on of our Doncaster based clients who are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope for progression.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager include:

• Overseeing a 32-person strong operation with 3 Team Leaders across both Made-to-Stock and Made-to-Order functions — each with its own pace and criticality
• Drive performance across core operational pillars: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, and Inventory (SQCDPI)
• Spot opportunities for and implement process improvements
• Contributes to setting functional strategy and objectives, aligning departmental goals with wider business targets

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in production or operations within a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
• Someone who leads from the front — visible & proactive
• Experience coaching and mentoring front-line leaders
• Comfortable working cross-functionally, rotating across departments and managing 50–60 staff when needed
• A strategic mindset and ambition — ideal for someone ready to step into a broader operational role in future
