Production ManagerBased in Thetford, NorfolkHours:  39.5 hours per week; 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 to 16:00 FridaySalary: £40,000 per annum + Bonus Are you currently working as a Supervisor or Team Leader and looking for the next step up?Do you have previous experience supervising people?Do you have experience of working in a manufacturing environment? Our client, a long established manufacturer based in Thetford are looking for a Production Manager to join their team. The three key areas for this role are; Production Management, People Management and New Product Development. Within these areas duties will include: PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

• Planning of production to ensure dispatch deadlines are met
• Managing sales orders against stock levels and production targets
• Maintaining quality standards throughout the production process
• Managing budgets and production costs

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Managing staffing numbers including permanent and agency staff
• Overseeing employee training and development
• Ensure staff are working to required health and safety standards

NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Working collaboratively with wider management on NPD projects
• Taking responsibility for the production process of new products, providing input and drafting processes
• Offering resolution on any process related problems

Our client is looking for someone who can offer solutions and improvements, an individual with high attention to detail and a positive outlook. The package offered starts with a salary of £40,000 per annum and an annual bonus payment of up to £10,000. Holiday starts at 21 days + Bank Holidays increasing to 24 days + Bank Holidays on completion of 3 years service and 26 days + Bank holidays on completion of 5 years service.
