Production Manager

Wellingborough - NN8£30,000 - £35,000Days 6am - 3pm Monday to Friday

The Production Managers main is the day-to-day running of operations. You will be accountable and responsible for all duties related to the smooth running of your operation on site.

The ideal Production Manager will be:

• Experienced in warehouse logistics with good knowledge in people management, cost and KPI control
• Experience of delivering on targets, quality, process and H&S
• Proven operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven, manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environment.
• Experience identifying system improvements with cost saving potentials.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement projects like lean, complexity reduction, and six sigma.

The Production Manager will be responsible for:

• Ensuring Health and Safety protocols are followed
• Ensuring all training is up to date
• Liaising with customers and suppliers
• Daily audits for safety and quality
• Completing site consumable counts as required, raising purchase orders and procuring them
• Completing accurate and timely management reports
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are complete
• Carry out HR tasks where necessary - Return to work, holiday planning and disciplinary procedures
• Plan and book agency employees where necessary

This role will suit someone who has experience in management, warehouse logistics with good knowledge of people management, delivering on targets, quality and H&S.
