Production Manager - Bespoke Furniture - ARBUTHNOT & WHEELER LIMITED : Job Details

The Job Responsibilities

• Assume control of all Production team, including Production Leaders and Technicians who are involved in the bespoke manufacturing process
• Continually improve team efficiency - sharing knowledge and looking for ways to improve processes
• Key areas are Fabrication Shop, Foundry, Patination
• Manage and lead a team of 45
• Ensure all customer deadlines are met making sure that work is finished by agreed deadlines
• Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the department in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures
• Build positive working relationships with other departments

Qualifications (essential)

• Can work to achieving volume targets - monthly, quarterly, annually
• Solid understanding of Best Practices in Production Environment. Includes Continuous Improvement, Right First Time, Quality Management Systems
• Strong appreciation for quality - Luxury Brand experience would be very useful
• Good understanding of ERP Systems
• Good man management skills/experience managing a diverse team
• Ideally worked in Bespoke Production environment or high-volume manufacturing
• Ability to work in multi-functional teams
