A growing technology team based in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Product Owner to support the development of innovative communication solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on AWS and Windows-based applications, contributing to complex software products used by clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog for one or more SCRUM teams.

• Represent product requirements during Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Project Managers to prioritise work and resolve issues.

• Define detailed functionality and user stories, working with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Document product features and disseminate information across departments.

• Support roadmap planning and feature prioritisation.

• Act as a product expert to assist teams in understanding dependencies and functionality.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical background with experience in software tools and application development.

• Clear communicator who can tailor messaging to varied audiences.

• Critical thinker with good time management and problem-solving skills.

• Able to evaluate trade-offs between functionality and development effort.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AWS/Azure, Windows, Linux

• Proficiency in Java, C#, C, or C++

• Familiarity with APIs, virtualisation, cloud environments, and Agile workflows

• Requirements gathering, use case definition, and writing functional specifications

• Desirable: exposure to Android, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, GPS technologies

• Occasional travel may be required; a full driving licence and access to a car is desirable.

• Candidates must be eligible for SC security clearance.
