CLIENT

We’re currently seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity as you’ll have a direct impact on the Banks revenue streams, allowing you to learn unique commercial banking knowledge and expose you to a breadth of interesting products.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue streams, shaping commercial banking strategies, and gaining unparalleled exposure to diverse financial products including the development of innovative eTrading solutions in the Equities and Securities domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Define and communicate the strategic vision for the Equities and Securities eTrading product, aligning team objectives with strategic priorities and business outcomes.

·       Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product feature releases, collaborating closely with engineering and other stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.

·       Shape and refine the product roadmap, prioritizing and managing the backlog based on data-driven insights and business objectives, while promoting agile methodologies and a test-and-learn approach.

·       Ensure all decisions adhere to a robust risk framework and comply with Group standards and risk appetite, safeguarding the integrity and security of the eTrading platform.

·       Support partners with technical and non-technical backgrounds, adeptly articulating business requirements and facilitating changes to meet evolving market demands.

·       Oversee multi-million-pound investments in product enhancements, ensuring timely delivery within scope, cost, quality, and agreed timescales, while collaborating with business partners to realize benefits.

ESSENTIAL SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE

·       At least 5 years of deep product experience (Trader/Quant/e-trading Dev)

·       At least 5 years of domain/business experience (BA/PM).

·       Demonstrated Product Knowledge: Equities and securities (E.g. Cash equities, Futures).

·       Demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end trade lifecycle within the Equities and Securities domain, including trade execution, settlement, and post-trade processing.

·       Proven track record of developing and executing eTrading strategies, leveraging technology to optimize trading workflows, enhance liquidity, and drive revenue growth.

·       Extensive experience working within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with software engineering teams and business functions to deliver tangible business outcomes.

·       Strong understanding of front-office operations in investment banking, with hands-on experience working with traders, sales teams, and other front-office stakeholders.

·       Excellent partner management and influencing skills, coupled with a client-centric focus, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and drive consensus towards common goals.
