Mortgage Product and Proposition Lead

Cumbria (very flexible hybrid, can be remote with office presence ad hoc)

Are you an experienced, product professional seeking an exciting opportunity within mortgages? Our client is seeking a Mortgage Product and Proposition Lead to join their customer focussed organisation, to be responsible for the management and development of their mortgage products.

The role will work closely with the Head of Mortgages and Executive team to ensure they have a competitive and relevant product offering, enabling the success of the business strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development of mortgage products, with the potential to also add responsibility for their Savings offerings in the future.

Duties of the Mortgage Product and Proposition Lead will include:

• Maintain an up to date understanding of the UK mortgage market and the products/propositions of our key competitors
• Undertake competitor pricing and behaviour monitoring and use this insight to develop pricing proposals for both new and existing business
• Create product and proposition development proposals
• Lead the post implementation review following new product launches and undertake the annual product reviews for the product portfolio.

The successful individual will possess:

• Previous experience in product management, specifically with mortgages.
• Previous experience and understanding of propositions and pricing.
