I am working with a rapidly expanding FMCG Business who are seeking a Product Developer / Buyer to join their team. **This role will be working with personal care and / or household (cleaning) products and candidates must have experience in on of these categories**

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on Product Development with the Sales Team to successfully deliver products to worldwide customers.
• Concept development, range plan development/ gap analysis, briefing in design, product costings, arranging product samples, sample management and sourcing.
• Developing product & range concepts to present to clients.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals and ensure product availability.

Work closely with the sales team to develop customer relationships and drive product growth.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure our clients offering remains competitive.

Experience Required:

• A background in product development / buying within personal care or household products
• An excellent understanding the NPD cycle and the FMCG marketplace
• Experience working with supermarkets, discounters, etc
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Management and leadership skills
