Product Controller - 8 month Contract - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Marlin Selection are presently working on a very exciting role with a commodities trading firm who are currently looking to hire a Product Controller to join their busy team in London on an 8-month contract.

Your main responsibility within the role will be to ensure the integrity of the firm’s financial statements through preparation and independent verification of daily and monthly P&L, price verification and valuation testing of trading inventory.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Independent valuation of commodity derivatives.
• Daily & monthly P&L reporting.
• P&L investigation, explanation, and reconciliations.

You will need to have the following experience:

• Previous product control, or related, experience within a commodity environment
• Excellent numeracy, analytics, combined with strong communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a global team.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
