Procurement Manager

Location: Shannon, Co. Clare

Salary: €65,000 to €80,000 depending on experience

Exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to step into a newly created role with a fast-growing manufacturer.

I'm currently supporting a leading organisation in Shannon who are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead their purchasing team and drive improvements across supply chain performance, supplier management, and inventory optimisation.

The RoleYou'll be responsible for leading a team of three, building strong global supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are procured cost-effectively and on time. Key focus areas include improving KPIs, driving cost savings, implementing Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI), and coaching your team to deliver a high-performing procurement function.

What's Needed

• Degree/diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years' procurement/purchasing leadership experience within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and cost reduction track record
• Commercial acumen with experience in international contracts and logistics
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
