  • Annual Salary: £64k per annum
  • Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid Working/Home-based, with one required office day per week)

As a not-for-profit independent company, we are dedicated to innovation and delivering community impact through quality procurement solutions. Due to an uprise in new contracts secured, we are currently seeking a Regional Procurement Manager to lead our efforts across the Midlands, London, and Southeast.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary contact for our procurement services, assessing and reporting on client requirements to continually enhance service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with appointed companies to ensure comprehensive understanding and fulfillment of user needs in procuring projects.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide a full range of call-off support to users throughout their building programmes or individual projects, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement legislation.
  • Knowledge Development: Continuously develop and improve knowledge of the construction and building materials sector in England to inform the team on key economic and social drivers.
  • Best Practices: Offer advice on best practices and innovation in procurement to maintain competitiveness in the framework provider sector.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain credibility and establish personal relationships with clients to facilitate corporate goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage day-to-day operations of client projects from registration to contract award, ensuring a clear audit trail for all procurement activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel in client organisations to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Deliver a comprehensive range of procurement services, including advice on procurement options, support in direct award and mini-competition call-offs, and guidance on contract forms.
  • Develop proforma for delivering call-off services in consultation with other procurement professionals.
  • Engage in pre-tender activities to understand regional client requirements and market capabilities.
  • Support regional suppliers in applying to become framework providers through engagement and training.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Proven experience in regulated procurement for Public Sector organisations, with a strong understanding of procurement best practices and regulations.
  • Qualifications: Degree or equivalent experience, with MCIPS accreditation or working towards Diploma Level 5.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills; adept at managing information via IT systems; strong analytical ability.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, strategic thinker, supportive, honest, and a strong ambassador for our brand.
